Book now for printing SA’s introduction to Printing course due to take place from 10th – 12th October, 2016 at Printing SA KZN Training College at unit 2, Afriscan Park, 21 Aashna Khuzwayo Road in New Germany.
The printing industry employs over 45 000 individuals and contributes to nearly 2% of the GDP and supports over 126 trades where more than 30 of these trades fall within the printing and packaging industry alone.
Interested? Well Printing SA is providing an opportunity to be introduced to various pre-press, printing and post press processes used in the printing and packaging industry.
This course provides candidates an insight into the wonderfully diverse industry as well as offers the necessary supporting knowledge that apprentices will need when furthering various technical theoretical studies.
Those who should attend this exciting course include existing and new entrants into the printing industry, from sales, client liaison, estimators to production planners, advertising agency staff and even clients that deal directly with printing companies.
The course will include an introduction to printing, paper making, light and photography, colour, pre-press, print finishing as well major printing processes which will include letterpress, flexography, lithography, gravure, screen printing and digital printing.
This course is FP&M SETA accredited. Cost per delegate is R2990 excluding vat for members and R3289 excluding vat for non-members.
