Printing SA Urges Members to Observe All COVID-19 protocols Under Adjusted Alert Level-4
Printing SA would like to inform members that we will continue to provide our services during the adjusted Level-4 as announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday, 27 June 2021.
We are continuing with procedures to ensure the safety of our staff, as well as the protection of our clients. While our three offices in Midrand, Durban and Cape Town are officially closed until 16 July 2021, all staff are still available for the rendering of continued services and consultation. Our training calendars have been adjusted to avoid F2F contact, and some assessments have been rescheduled.
For member companies, the measures announced have been put into place to allow for as much economic activity to continue as possible while containing the spread of the virus.
Printing SA is therefore encouraging members to continue to operate but do so in accordance with strict health and safety measures.
Working from home is encouraged if possible, minimising in-office exposure. If support staff are needed to work at the office, strict in-office hygiene controls and screening should also be employed, while social distancing and wearing a mask should be enforced at all times.

B4SA Encourages Vaccine Registration on EVDS
The management of Business For South Africa (B4SA) is pleased that the Department of Health (DOH) is now directing and permitting more uninsured people to be vaccinated at the growing number of private-sector sites. The result is that we will use the increased supply of vaccines more effectively and rapidly increase the number of people protected. The vaccination programme is now gathering steam, with up to 100,000 people a day being vaccinated this week.
The opening of registrations for people 50 and above from 1 July and their vaccinations commencing from 15 July is also welcome news.
B4SA asks all those who are 50 and older to register as soon as they can, and for everyone to help their loved ones who may have difficulty registering.
Registration is necessary for people to be vaccinated as it helps the DOH allocate resources, manage the stock of vaccines and remind people of their second jab.
With the third wave upon us, and hospitals nearing capacity, we also need every person to continue to wear masks, sanitise, and maintain social distancing.
Stay safe, register and help others do the same.
Martin Kingston Chairman, B4SA Steering Committee
