Printing SA Message to affected members during KZN and Gauteng unrest
We note with deep concern the unprecedented series of events over the past week, resulting in malls, factories and warehouses being looted, vandalised and in some cases being burnt in KZN and Gauteng. We empathise with our member companies who had to shut down either for the short or long term due to security concerns, losing production at a time when the economy can ill afford it. We also note with regret the burning down of an established member company premises in Durban, Amcor Flexibles, who have had to issue a force majeure with all its suppliers. This company has sustained huge losses running into hundreds of millions of rands, and their employees are now unemployed. Printing SA is here to help, service and advise in whichever way possible.
Please contact your Chamber Managers to assist with any Labour and HR matters that have arisen as a result of this turmoil.
Thank you, may peace prevail, and recovery efforts be successful.

Printing SA supports SACCI statement on Violence on our roads, looting of businesses and damage to property
The South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) condemns in the strongest terms the looting of businesses, damage to property and intimidation and victimisation of people. Whilst the right to peaceful protest is one of the fundamental rights in our constitutional democracy, what we are experiencing now with this violence that is targeted at looting and damaging public infrastructure, is pure criminality by marauding gangs who are masquerading as protesters.
