A circular economy also referred to as "circularity" is an economic system that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. The circular approach, as envisioned by the Ellen Macarthur Foundation, explain our waste can build capital rather than reduce it by rethinking and redesign products, components and the packaging they come in. The circular economy incorporates renewable energy and is based on three principles: designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.
