This is basically what 4D printing is: a jumping off point from 3D printing currently being researched by various institutions that can potentially offer us many benefits in the future.

The Print Census aim is to update the understanding of trends, recognise challenges, and explore opportunities within print and signage. The survey explores how customer demands are growing. Findings of the Census will help develop new products and grow existing ones.
