Printing SA CEO Breakfast Highlights: Productivity And Printing Technology
Printing SA’s recent CEO breakfast took place at the Kyocera South Africa offices in Midrand and was live-streamed via YouTube. The hybrid event was held in partnership with Productivity SA and proudly hosted by Kyocera South Africa.
Being productive can help your company increase its overall productivity and effective utilisation of its resources. Most productive companies have happy and healthy employees, which are the basis of a successful organisation. The more you can produce with the resources available, the greater the value your team generates. Printing SA partnered with Productivity SA to provide attendees insights into how they can achieve maximum productivity in these ever-changing times.

POPIA Self-Assessment Form - ABP Information Sharing
As you may be aware, compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), also known as the POPI Act, will be mandatory for ALL registered businesses in South Africa effective 01 July 2021.
Printing SA has obtained permission from Mr Peter Hill of POPIA (Pty) Ltd, the author of the attached self-assessment form who has approved the distribution to our members as part of the value-add we are always looking at providing. You may use this assessment form to assess your organisation’s POPIA-compliance.
Compliance is key to a sustainable, credible business, and we endeavour to assist our members in achieving that standard of excellence in compliance.
As per the latest update from the InfoRegulator's website, the date for registering an Information Officer (and Deputy Information Officer) for your business or your client’s business commences 01 May 2021
The POPI Act applies to every legal entity/business/association dealing with Personal Information in South Africa, including dormant entities that are still registered. If an entity does not want to submit documentation and comply with POPI and PAIA, it needs to deregister.
