SACCI MEDIA RELEASE: JANUARY 2022 TRADE CONDITIONS SURVEY
Trade conditions continued to improve in January 2022 after an uncertain 2 nd half of 2021 and when seasonal factors are considered, trade conditions are in an upward trend. The disruption and mayhem in July 2021 had a negative impact on trade, but it also accelerated the recovery and inspired resilience in communities and businesses.

2022 NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE
Employment and Labour Minister, Thulas Nxesi announced in February 2022 that the
National Minimum Wage (NMW) for each ordinary hour worked has been increased from R21,69 to R23.19 for the year 2022 with effect from 01 March 2022.

NEW POSITION: MARKETING AND EVENTS COORDINATOR
Printing SA is seeking to appoint a suitable qualified and experienced Marketing and Events Coordinator for its national office in Midrand. The primary purpose of this role is to provide the Marketing Manager, and regional offices with marketing, events coordination and administrative support.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION AT CENTRAL CHAMBER
Printing SA has an Administrative Assistant position available at our Central Chamber in Midrand. Duties for this role include:
- 45% - Office administration and Reception duties.
- 10% - Meetings and Function Coordination.
- 10% - Office housekeeping.
- 15% - Offering assistance to the Chamber Manager and Consultants.
- 20% - Member services.

SHOWCASE YOUR BEST PRODUCTS AT FESPA GLOBAL EXPO – BERLIN 2022
Printing SA members are invited to showcase their best work at the Association's Pavilion, where we will display print samples and highlight the benefits of becoming a member of Printing SA.
The products should be inspiring and diverse, so feel free to submit 3D objects printed, special effects, textile or graphics. The key requirement is for them to be of the highest quality.
Printing SA will need to collate the examples and ship them to FESPA in Dorking by 8 April so that the stand can be modified to best display the items. The maximum size of any item is 1000 x 700mm or similar.
