"THAT'S A WRAP!" - PRINTING SA MARKS THE END OF THE ANNUAL GALA DINNER SERIES 2023
The Printing SA Annual Gala Dinner Series began on the 5th of October 2023 with the National Dinner and Awards followed by the 12th October 2023 for the Cape Chamber and lastly on the 2nd November 2023 for the KZN Chamber.

The events were held at the Accolades Boutique Venue, Midrand; the Marriott Hotel, Century City, Cape Town; and Mount Edgecombe Country Club, Umhlanga, Durban. The Gala Dinners were a success with over 400 guests in attendance across the chambers.

The top 3 apprentices were acknowledged and presented with medals and certificates. The guests enjoyed the lucky draw competitions, with the best dressed male, best dressed female and best dressed table all receiving prizes. For the 2nd time in the National Awards history the prestigious Gutenberg Award was presented to Teresa Adinolfi, MD, Redfern for her service and achievements in being one of the few women in our industry to have made a significant impact not only to the industry but also as one of the very first female chairpersons of the Central Chamber. Teri as she is more affectionately known continues to serve in her capacity as treasurer for the Central Chamber and is a truly deserving individual of this coveted award. To end the night, the guests were entertained with live music from The Morning After Band, 5th Season, DJ Steven Charles and comedic entertainment by Arnotte Payne and Rezah Forbes.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the events premier sponsor the FP&M Seta, and Diamond Sponsors are Kyocera and Canon whose contributions made all of these events possible. We’d also like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the print sponsors Impress Printers for the KZN Chamber and Tandym for the Cape Chamber.

CENTRAL & NORTHERN CHAMBER
AND CAPE CHAMBER CEO'S BUSINESS BREAKFASTS 2023

The Central and Northern Chamber's and Cape Chamber's CEO's Breakfasts were both a success. They were on the 7th and 10th of November 2023, respectively.

The special guest speaker for the breakfast was none other than the multi-talented Mr. Musa Kalenga himself, CEO of Bravegroup. Musa discussed the importance of leading well and adapting to managing unique generations for the greater good.

Musa has inspired the delegates—CEOs, managers, and directors alike—to uplift, shift, and ignite the printing and packaging industries. Printing SA looks forward to hosting Mr. Kalenga again in the near future.
