Registration for Printing SA’s Sheetfed Lithographers Assistant Skills Programme closes on 16 April, and this 10-day course is set to begin on 17 May. The course’s collection of learning programmes integrate the skills, knowledge and workplace experience that a Sheetfed Lithographers Assistant needs to competently assist Sheetfed Lithographers set up, operate and maintain lithographic printing presses.

Propak Cape 2021 cancelled due to Covid-19

Specialised Exhibitions, a division of Montgomery Group and organisers of the highly successful Propak Cape Exhibition that showcases the latest technologies and innovation in packaging, food processing, plastics, printing, and labelling, has announced that the 2021 show has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Propak Cape was due to take place from 8-10 June at the Cape Town International Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.

The DTG marketplace continues to thrive despite unprecedented recent events. Of all of the sectors utilising digital technologies within the digital textile printing market, the “Direct to Garment” sector stands out as a shining example of success during a difficult year.

The DTG sector, boosted by a growing and irreversible shift to online sales, has also been augmented by significant developments in machinery, software and web to print technologies.
